Entering your wines into the competition will increase your brands’ awareness and increase sales with our active social media campaigns. Throughout the year, we post tweets about submitted wines, using your content. Our public Facebook page also contains wine-related content. During the OC Fair, wines are poured at the 7,300 square foot Wine Courtyard, exposing your wines to 1.3 million fair attendees. This venue is staffed by the Wine Society’s members that are able to intelligently discuss the wines they are pouring.
The Results web site has gone above and beyond other such sites to maximize your winery’s social media exposure. Each submitted bottle will be professionally photographed, which is available at no charge to the winery for any purpose. The Results site has the ability to display winery and label descriptions, with links back to your web site. Links to retailers that sell your wine can also be added.
Since the Wine Society’s inception in 1976, and the development of the Scholarship Program, the Orange County Wine Society has raised and donated $633,000 in scholarships to students studying enology (winemaking), viticulture (grape growing), wine appreciation, and culinary arts at several colleges throughout California. Most of this money is funded from wine tastes at the OC Fair.
